JoyRun is a peer-to-peer platform used by and for friends. JoyRun’s feed let’s you see who wants what in your area, create or spontaneously join existing requests, and then connects you with community members willing to deliver. JoyRun is powered by you, helping shape individual deliveries into group experiences.
Why should I use JoyRun?
JoyRun makes delivery and the ability to make money reliable, cheap, and easy. And, every order you deliver is a good deed to a friend in your community. Your food is delivered by community members for safe and convenient purchases. JoyRun helps make people happy by giving them what they want, whether it’s to make extra cash or having a get together with friends.
JoyRun does not restrict your delivery requests, or appetite, and seeks to put the power in your hands, as a runner, a buyer, a great friend.

When can I use JoyRun?
JoyRun is available 24/7. You are always free to request a run in your area for someone to pick up just as you are free to pick up any active run requests and make some cash. If you’re trying to earn money for a goal or order food for yourself or friend, JoyRun has you covered.
Who delivers the food?
A fellow member of your community; a classmate at your school, a service member at your base, or a coworker in your city.
Who can deliver on JoyRun?
Anyone can deliver on JoyRun. There is no hiring or application needed. If you want to make money or help your community, you can download the app and start a run right now.
Why was JoyRun started?
We wanted an app that helps community members give back as well as be rewarded by their community. Our vision came from the idea that any individual can be a part of this network, both delivering to make money, and ordering to celebrate moments with friends. JoyRun is ideal for those who are hungry to make money or feast with friends.

What is the best way to contact support?

How much does it cost?
Delivery fees are determined by the runner and range from $0-5 depending on hours (Later hours = higher delivery fee). You pay for the food + delivery fee in the app and the money is deposited in the runner’s account after the delivery successfully occurs.
What is the service fee?
JoyRun's service fee helps pay credit card transaction fees and other similar costs and is currently $0.70 per order.
What kind of payment does JoyRun process and what is it like?
Payment can be made with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover credit or debit cards. For your security, we use bank-grade security through our payment partner, Stripe nor do we store any sensitive information on our servers. Stripe is used by companies such as Lyft, Twitter, etc.
How do I pay my runner?
You pay the runner through the app when you order using the credit or debit card you set up on the Payment page. Each order placed will include the runner’s delivery fee and applicable taxes.
Do I have to tip?
It is entirely up to you to tip your runner But, paying it forward always helps us sleep better at night :)
How do I get a refund?

What can I do with my promo credits?
Credits on JoyRun can be used as cash towards a future order or cashed out to you bank account.
Help! I ordered two items instead of one? Can I cancel and reorder?
If you need to cancel and the runner has not gotten your order yet, you can chat with them directly and ask the runner to cancel for you. You will be refunded in this case.
I ordered some time ago but my runner hasn't show up. What do I do?
JoyRun is risk free for you. In the rare case that the runner does not show up, you will not be charged a dime. Please reach out to us at email@example.com for any complications or concerns and we will take care of you.
The order was wrong. What do i do?
First reach out to your runner in the chat and let them know a mistake may have been made. JoyRun is a community of helpful runners and most runners are willing to take the time to help sort things out. In the rare cases that things are not resolved contact support through the live chat to receive assistance right away in helping to solve your problem. I am a runner who picked up the food, but the buyer is unresponsive. What should I do?
We recommend waiting for the buyer for ten minutes at the meetup location. Post in the chat that you are here and try to call them and text them from the contact buyers page. If they are unresponsive after ten minutes you can move on. If they respond later you can go back and deliver if you like. If it is the last buyer on the run or you are going home after you can leave and will not be responsible for the delivery not being completed and you will still be paid in full.
How do I get paid?
After completing delivery runs, processing takes approximately three hours. To receive your payouts from the app, enter your debit card or bank account information on the Balance page in the app. Payouts from your runs will be processed either overnight, with JoyRun QuickPay, or in 3-5 business days with regular processing. We have also added JoyRun Instant Cashout which allows you recieve you money quickly, for a small fee. Note that some banks do not support JoyRun QuickPay or JoyRun Instant Cashout and payouts will fall back to the regular 3-5 days processing.
Why are the pending charges on my credit card higher than my order amount?
Rest assured you will never be overcharged. If prices at a restaurant change, the runner is allowed to edit your order price by a small amount. Your credit card was authorized for your order price plus this small amount. You can set the max allowed amount when placing the order. You will only be charged the actual cost, and if the runner changes any price, they will share a receipt with you.
